rome05 [13] = "Climbed the church (ran up the stairs to beat the lift!). Pretty impressive!"

rome05 [15] = "...to arrive at the top with a fantastic view of Rome. Lots of people still waiting to hear about the Pope, who died about 3 hours later."

rome05 [18] = "Watched one side of a live interview. Not sure if we made it onto TV?"

rome05 [20] = "Ate out then went clubbing. Good dance at the end of a long day sightseeing."
rome05 [21] = "A local's directions for a taxi involved finding a pyramid, which we managed, and luckily jumped on a bargain bus ride back to the hotel."
rome05 [22] = "Next day, Sarah's Mum and Dad arrived back in Rome after a week in Sicily. Went with them to see the Roman baths. Huge ruins but not much left of the original fixtures and fittings."

rome05 [29] = "Next day, after a walk in the park, Sarah's parents flew home and we went to the Colesseum. Got hand-held guided tours which were very handy."
rome05 [30] = "Massive amount of the arena still left, even though it was being pulled down until the 18th century(ish) when they decided to prop up what was left."
